Hello
My name is Echo Gray-Barnes. I moved to Europe to learn more about reproductive health. With some of the highest positive birth outcomes in the world, the EU has a lot to teach us about reproductive health.
I believe giving birth is the most powerful thing you can do.
There are a lot of questions and unknowns around birth and it can be really overwhelming. I want to help you on your journey through the most beautiful part of your life by making it a little less overwhelming and a little more enjoyable!
My Story
I have a Bachelor's degree in public health from BYU in Utah, and a Master's degree in Global Sexual and Reproductive health from Dalarna University in Sweden. After getting these degrees I decided to continue my educational journey by becoming a certified doula, postpartum doula, and breastfeeding consultant.
Through the process of moving away from my home country, I was introduced to the complexity that is immigration. Adding a birth and a new child to all that can feel almost impossible.
I believe in complementary medicine, and that there are many things we can do to support our health outside of the doctor's office while still appreciating the wealth of modern medicine. It is important to me that doulas, lactation consultants, and herbal and other traditional interventions compliment instead of replace scientifically evidence based medicine.

Cygnet Care

Cygnets are the name for baby swans. Swans are common in Europe and they're known to be dedicated parents no matter where choose to nest.
Whether you are comfortable at home or choose to migrate across an ocean before adding to your family, I'm excited to support you on your journey!
